Seeking Refuge

Seeking Refuge is a compilation of short films for the BBC about children seeking asylum in the UK. 

I animated on the film 'Navids Journey from Iran' which was Directed and animated by the incredibly gifted Jon Topf. I am pleased to say that its now available to watch on BBC iPlayer here. If you would like to go straight to Jon's film click here.

After watching the second series i just needed to draw this guy, just wasn't sure how.

I am working for a large fashion company at the moment, cant say too much at this point apart from its an awesome commission! these are some of my initial ideas.  

some observations

its been too long

the last time i went life drawing was in December 2010! Its great to do it again but the class i've been attending do really long poses, which i dislike as it exposes way to many weaknesses and tests my attention span.
