A little face lift

I thought it would be appropriate to start the new academic year with a new, more epic banner.

Breca Now

The big man is complete! Unfortunately I won't be doing any more stop motion with him as he's too ridged and i fear that his head will fall off again. However i do intend to develop him further in 2D when i start character animation at CSM. I've been spending a lot of time thinking about his story and i cant wait to start working on it. As for now he remains as the ominous avatar of this blog.

Breca Then

Breca during his youth.
Many battles were won by his hands alone, unimaginable beast's were slain by his might, men drank merrily to his deeds and women were rendered weak at the knees by his chiseled abs, his lions maine and his astounding moostache.
what became of the man he once was is a tale of loathing and regret.... but that is a story for another time.

Just assuring my number one critic Oschon that i am doing more than just drawing. More details of my finished models will be uploaded next week-when i've cleaned my desk.

Breca

Just in the process of dressing up my plasticine character with some fabrics. I have also bulked him up a bit round the shoulders and arms as well as adding some extra belly. I just need to purchase some more fabrics for accessories and he's done!

The Once Great Breca

I decided to take a short break from drawing studies and instead opt for creating a character out of some plasticine i had left over from a previous project. Inspired by the character designs in Dreamworks' 'How to train a Dragon', as well as my Dads beer belly and my peculiar ginger beard, i came up with 'Breca'. more developments to come shortly.
